Our action in the project “Ulcinj coast without plastic”

MSJA – Dr. Martin Schneider-Jacoby within the project “Ulcinj coast without plastic”, funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit – GIZ, organized a three-day event called “REuse_REduce_REcycle”, and consisted of presentations, workshops and exhibitions of sculptures .
The idea of the final activity on this project is the desire to together with beach tenants (Pacha Kitesurf Beach, Dolcinium Kitesurf Beach, Ka´banya Kitesurf Beach) draw the attention of all beach users to the impact of plastic on the environment with a focus on the coast, and to more actively involve all stakeholders to reduce the use of plastics in order to completely eliminate plastics and soon Ulcinj coast becomes Plastic free. The exhibition contains 6 sculptures and 4 installations created by young activists of the NGO Our Action with the active participation of MSJA volunteers and all participants in this event. The opening ceremony of the exhibition “Under the clear sky” was attended by the mayor of Ulcinj, Mr. Aleksnadar Dabovic, who also officially opened this exhibition, as well as representatives of the media and NGO sector and citizens who showed support for this project.
