Work action for the construction of the Seljanovo playground

Uncategorized

Today, at the Seljanovo II location near the truck market, a work action was held to arrange a children’s playground. The action was organized by the Tivat Youth Team and the NGO Nasa akcija, with the support of Komunalno Tivat doo and students of Knightsbridge School. The construction of the playing fields was financed by the company Montenegro Concierge DMC through its social responsibility program, and their employees joined in the field work. We especially want to thank one dad, Mr. Ivanovic, who also joined us. This is a rarity in volunteer activities, and extremely important for the transfer of knowledge to younger generations. In the next period, it is planned to launch a Facebook page for social responsibility so that all citizens who want to can join various actions or provide other types of support on the ground.

Action “Collecting fruits of the autumn forest”

Uncategorized

NGO Nasa Akcija and Omladinski Tivat went to Gornji Stoliv and Bigova today. The goal of today’s action is twofold: 1. collecting autochthonous chestnuts in order to create seedlings and thus pollinate the threatened part of the chestnut tree, 2. collecting fruits as well as maginja seedlings in order to create autochthonous souvenirs that young people would produce through entrepreneurial workshops.

This action is the second in a row as part of the Green Montenegro movement that has taken off across the country. In the previous weeks, eucalyptus seeds and oak seedlings were collected. All seedlings, seeds and sprouts will be taken care of at the Muo Youth Educational Center until the moment of planting.

Survey: needs and wishes of young people in the municipality of Kotor

From July to September, the NGO Naša akcija researched the needs and wishes of young people through a survey of young people aged 15-30 in the entire municipality. The survey focused on youth employability, youth club work, youth interests and knowledge of youth policy, and the results can serve as clear guidelines for further development and improvement of youth policy in our city.
After the survey, a mapping of existing services and programs for young people was also made, and a set of workshops on the topic of digitalization was held.
The conducted research and collected information are very important for the development of the next action plan, and they were submitted to the Secretariat for Culture, Sports and Social Activities, through which this activity was supported.

Humanitarian action for the Orbović family

In the past two weeks, we have organized two humanitarian actions to raise funds for a single mother, Oliver Orbović. She lives with her four daughters in Žabljak Crnojević with a monthly income of 120 euros. That is exactly the obstacle to receiving social assistance. Since her husband passed away, Oliver’s already difficult life, due to his illnesses, has become even more difficult. “I was left alone with my children. I am aware that life here is difficult anyway, especially when the children are still raising, “she told PCNEN. Oliver’s only income is 120 euros, her husband’s inherited pension, due to which she cannot receive social assistance or any other from the state. We will keep the Orbović family in mind for the next humanitarian activities, for which we will inform the general public in a timely manner. This action would not be possible without our friends and students from the @ arcadia_academi_montenegro school, as well as the citizens of Tivat. Thanks!
